Crockett's Future is a documentary about the changes at our school next year. We're going to have a block schedule and a college campus across the street where students can take free classes for college credit. I wasn't too thrilled with the topic but we had to film some documentary and we were running short on time (we had just finished Danger and we were braindead!).
This was a topic that a lot of people knew about and it would be relatively easy to film and edit. We got interviews with the school principal, some students, and some parents. I recorded some narration. It took about a week to edit including the sound.
I'm pleased with the way it came out. It's informative which is what we were going for. However, I've decided that I prefer narrative filmmaking to documentaries!
Thanks.
Thanks to all the interviewies and the crew! Dr. Gideon, Mom, Ms. Pare, Rachel, Andrew, Markus, ChezRey, and Mr. McLaughlin!
