This was not a complicated project. One day in May I filmed some willing subjects playing tennis. I had about an hour of footage to edit with. The editing process wasn’t hard, just long (try watching people hit a tennis ball over…and over…and over). I broke up the edited video by drills (ex. The first section is a warm up drill, then there’s a forehand drill, etc.). The one thing that was a pain was finding the right music. PowerDirector by Cyberlink (my first editing program) has a lot of looping background music clips. I listened to most of them but I couldn’t find anything perfect. I was looking for an upbeat song that wasn’t annoying when it was played back a few times. I eventually went with a couple upbeat jazz songs which aren’t too hard on the person watching and go with the tennis drills. After watching the finished product, I think it works!
Thanks.
Thanks go to the willing subjects! Patrick, Mom, Dad, and of course Coach Ron!
