HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!
I updated the current projects.
If anyone who reads this has Avid Xpress DV (Version 4, NTSC, PC) I have a problem. I'm trying to capture from a VHS tape (using an AV link) into Avid but I keep getting the error messge "capture aborted due to lack of progress". If anyone has a solution to this please send an email to melissa@chocolatecoveredfilms.com!!!

Did anyone see the 100 Cheers show from AFI a couple days ago? (If you didn't it was a list of the 100 most inspirational films of all time.) I agreed with the top two (It's a Wonderful Life followed by To Kill a Mockingbird) but I really wanted to see a Lord of the Rings film on there (my choice would have been Return of the King) and the Sidney Poitier film from 1950 called No Way Out.
I added a Q of the Month answer, a new link, and a current projects entry.

I updated the current projects and answered the Q of the Month (with a very long answer!). I also added some more responses to the Q of the Month (not including mine). This is completely unrelated to the site but I'm excited: I just got the illustrated version of The Hobbit with the artwork done by Alan Lee (the best Tolkien artist! I got to meet him when he came to Austin in October 2005!). The pictures are so cool and The Hobbit is my favorite book so that's even better! (Hannah, you need to see this!).
