Melissa’s Answer- Peter Falk
Who’s Peter Falk? He was Columbo, the LA police lieutenant who always had “Just one more thing” to ask. He was Guy Gisborn in Robin and the 7 Hoods, a story about singing Chicago gangsters of the 20’s. He was hilarious as Vincent Ricardo in The In Laws when he talked about the giant flies that carried away children and the Guacamole act with a straight and serious face. He was the hilarious detective Sam Diamond in Murder by Death when he spoofed film noir detectives. He also got a cameo on The Great Muppet Caper as the guy in the park who tried to play detective for Kermit the Frog. Even though all of the characters he plays are different, you can tell it’s a Peter Falk character; mostly because of his hand gestures. Peter Falk can make any movie funny!

James Stewart
My favorite movie actor is James Stewart. I just loved him as Jefferson Smith, the newly appointed senator in "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" who arrives in Washington ready to do the right thing for the people he represents. He takes a stand against the corrupt and gives that long inspiring speech on the Senate floor. He also played George Bailey in "It's a Wonderful Life", always helping others in Bedford Falls, fighting that mean Mr. Potter, and in the end realizing he has a wonderful life.
Some of the other great performances for Jimmy Stewart were: as Mike Connor a reporter in "The Philadelphia Story" with Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn, in "Call Northside 777" another reporter opening an old murder case, in several Hitchcock films including "Rope", "Vertigo", and "Rear Window".
Whatever the movie, Jimmy Stewart always made in Great!! -Sue
